having a code 54 on the dash engine light on
any suggestions or hints on previous problems.
pointing to a number of different problems
intercooler turbo sensor and maybe ecu???
code 54 means either water level low in chargecooler or intercooler pump,,,,,,,,,,,,,sorry but it will most prob be your intercooler pump,this pumps cool water from your slave rad into your chargcooler,,,they are £400 from toyota (nice)i know cos mine went,,,,i tried rebuilding it ,,new bearing,,seals,,i didnt work,,it still failed,,,,bastard of a thing to get to,,right up under the battery tray,,my advice GET A NEW ONE,,rebuilding it will make it last for a week or so,,
