Toyota Celica ST205 - Toyota Team Europe WRC Marlboro by lego911
Toyota Celica ST205 - Toyota Team Europe WRC Marlboro
Built in conjunction with Dylan Denton for LUGNuts 46th Built Challenge - 'Two of a kind'. This is the ST205 model of the TTE WRC Celica.

Shown here in the Marlboro Racing colours (and the reason for the buddy tie-up).

The ST205 was the last TTE WRC racer - primarily due to an 'anomaly' in the inlet restrictor for the engine in 1995. This resulted in a ban on the team for the following year. The car was succeded by the Corolla WRC in 1997.

The car here has been modelled in Lego in miniland scale and features an all-wheel-drive drive train and inline two-cylinder lego piston engine. The car also feature independent rear suspension (unfortunately not on the front). The car is also accompanied by the driver and co-driver also in miniland scale.
